3M Clean-Trace ATP Hygiene Monitoring System

The use of adenosine tri-phosphate (ATP) as an indicator of cleanliness is a widely recognised practice in the global food and beverage industry.

The Clean-Trace ATP hygiene monitoring system helps assess standards of hygiene and cleaning procedures by measuring the amount of ATP in a sample.  The presence of ATP on a surface indicates the presence of organic residues.

Studies by independent companies such as Cara Technology Ltd and Hygiene Assured have highlighted marked differences between systems currently available on the market – the Clean-Trace system scoring highly for both Repeatability and Sensitivity.  Copies of these reports are available on request by emailing: ukfoodsafety@mmm.com

In addition to our state of the art luminometer, the Clean-Trace hygiene monitoring system incorporates the 3M™ Clean-Trace™ Data Trending Software, an advanced data trending software used to record, track and trend hygiene data and monitor the effectiveness of cleaning regimes.
